I was just listening to an interview with Jim Morrison and he says he doesn't read anymore. ( when he was alive that is) He says that life just got too interesting... that he didn't need to read anymore. And I think that's true for me sometimes...not to put down people. that just read all the time... but to me reading for entertainment is boring.... Reading for knowledge is different though. But just reading to pass the time to me seems like a waste of time. There's so much more interesting things going on in this world than what's in a book. Now some really good writers have something to say but they are very few. I'm not talking about the people that just read at nighttime Or pick up a book here and there. I'm talking about people that read constantly all day long ...they have their nose stuffed into some novel about some fictional thing all day. I've seen people driving down the highway holdin a book up reading while they're driveing...how crazy is that.
I'm sure I do things that other people say r boring. I watch a lot of documentaries but to me I'm gaining information I'm learning something there. Its not just to pass the time.
But hey people can do whatever they want to do with their lives if they want to waste away with their head stuck in a book that's their prerogative. I'm going to enjoy this crazy beautiful weird exciting interesting world that's been created around me.
Well I just went to do some homework on the computer. I need to catch up on some work on d2l specifically my creative writing class. And I'll be damned if they were doing maintenance on it and its not working till sometime in the morning. That chaps my ass. That just frost my shorts. That erks me. Im really erked right now. That vexes me I'm totally vexed right now.
Well I guess I'll have to do it tomorrow.
Well I just finished my short story. I'm sure it's better than last semesters. I'm actually aware of different things when I right now. I I'm aware of certain words that didn't need to be there. When you talk sometimes you say things that when you say them sound okay but when they are written ..don't communicate well. And I fixed many of those things. This short story wasn't as tedious as the last one. It wasn't as painful. To write. The editing process seemed easier. It was fun. I've paid attention to the to be verbs...& found my mistakes. Also try to stay consistent with the tenses. I tried to make sure every sentence verb ,adverb.... wise... was in the right tense... it was congruent with the rest of the story. I'm sure in the real world there are editors that deal with all the little stuff. But there was questions where to put commas and periods grammar wise. I would do it a couple different ways and the Microsoft Word spell checker did not help. So I'm not sure when you write dialogue if you put a period After he said ....or you put a comma After he said ...and then a dialogue. Anyway it seems to be getting easier the more I write. So I will keep riding more.
So I've always had a problem with typing. I'm not that good at it. But now with my carpal tunnel it is even worse. Now it is physically painful. Excruciating after a few minutes. But I wrote my short story..by hand... and I figured I could use my phone ...the talk to text mode ...and email myself the text. So I just wrote maybe five to seven pages by hand, The last few days. And it just took me maybe 10 to 15 minutes to convert that to text ...on a computer. Seriously that would have taken me 5 to 6 hours. And that's when my hand wasn't hurt. It might have taken me two or three days ...having to stop to let the pain subside. This new technology might revolutionize my writing abilities. I still have to go in and edit ...where r commas & apostrophes ...but the majority of it is done.

I have tons of work that I need to transfer from written to computer ...now I can do it and it was actually fun... it wasn't a pain in the ass... like typing is. Lol
This just took me four minutes to write this. With the editing. That's quick for me. Lol
Its one thing after another....as soon as I think it can't get any worse....it does...they say god only gives you what you can handle. ....I'm there...been there...not sure how much more I can take.....its getting old....guess we'll see....I feel like bill Murray in groundhog day....same thing over and over again....gotta be an end in sight...."give in...give up... and get ready for it..."
There needs to be a d2l app for my phone. How cool would that be that I could use my phone to do my discussions and homework for my online classes on my phone. For some reason I can't connect to d2l through normal web page on my phone it won't let me log in. And just to say since I've discovered this blogger app I'm going to be blogging all the freakin time now so James your have a lot of reading to do. You've created a monster. Hahahahahahaha
Well first thing I just downloaded a blogger app to my phone so I don't have to type anymore. I can use talk to text. This is great because I can't use my hands. I can only use my right pinky to type because of my carpal tunnel. This is causing me great problems in my life that alone my writing. But I try not to focus on it. Anyway today is Super Bowl Sunday. I I am going to have a great time today. Eating good food and drinking good booze.
